Year 10 Geography fieldtrip to Betws-Y-Coed.

The Humanities Faculty have organised a field trip to Betws-Y-Coed in North Wales for our Year 10 Geography students. The purpose of this trip is to collect data that will form the basis of our Controlled Assessment investigation, which is worth 25% of the final GCSE grade. Students are strongly advised to participate in this piece of fieldwork, as the examination board require direct evidence that students have collected this data themselves on a field visit.

The Academy kindly asks parents for a contribution of £13 to be paid towards transportation. This is a voluntary contribution, however the trip could not run without it. This can be paid via a cheque made payable to Newton Academy Trust or it can also be paid via Parentpay.

Date of trip: Wednesday 3rd June Depart: 8:45 Return: 16:00-17:00
