Since September thirteen students from Year 7 and 9 have been taking part in the St. Helens Book Awards. Over recent months our students, along with students from other participating schools across St. Helens, have been whittling down the shortlisted books. Six titles made it to the awards ceremony on Thursday 30th April and our students were in attendance. The awards took place at Chester Lane Library in St. Helens and the students were treated to a talk by guest author, James Dawson, and a special book reading from his most recent title, ‘Under my skin’.
